#WeddingWednesday: Update + How to Get Over that Overwhelming Feeling
(Warning: there is no rhyme or reason to this post -
Just me thinking and writing my thoughts...
which could be a scattered mess or very helpful to some of you!)
Hi brides-to-be + MOB + FOB + SOB + BOB + MOG + FOG + SOG + BOG + Everyone Else =)Cheers to another #WW down! One week closer to your big day! You're either enjoying the hell out of all of this planning or crying every time you here the word "wedding" because you are so overwhelmed. Either way, it's coming a lot quicker than you realize and you better be ready! Some days I'm like Super(wo)man and check a bunch of items off of my list, and other days I'm literally stressing at the amount of things I need to accomplish in the next 3 months.I know I'm not the only one?Planning a wedding will bring out emotions you didn't even know you had... I'm about 3 1/2 months away from my October wedding and as perfect as my wedding planning may seem on Social Networks, it isn't always a walk in the park. Don't get me wrong, I am having a BLAST with the whole planning process, but some days it is a little overwhelming.I'm not gonna lie, there are definitely times where I don't want to hear the word "wedding". The last few months of planning it pretty much consumes your life because you are on detail overload. Remember these last minute details? Seating Chart? Invitations? Favors? Gifts for Bridesmaids? Booking your honeymoon? So many things, so little time. This post was basically created to reassure you that even if you are on stress overload, everything will turn out perfect. There will be things you can control and others you won't be able too, just remember in the end it'll be a funny story! Don't frantic about the small details, because the big picture is you will be married to your other half! That's what really matters - no matter how you do it (big wedding, intimate wedding, eloping, etc.) It will be beautiful no matter what. =)I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday and Happy Planning!
