Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017

Good news! The #NSale starts THIS WEEK!!
We are in OFFICIAL COUNTDOWN MODE for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale... If you were following me last year around this time, I did a post (HERE) about all of the items I purchased during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. All of the items I picked out were staple pieces that I could wear all year long. A little recap below...I purchased 3 Lush V-Neck plain tee's that I literally wear ALL the time. I'm most likely going to buy a few more colors this year! Two of my favorites buys were the military green jacket that is so versatile, it looks great with a LBD or jeans and a tee and the plaid scarf that is the perfect winter accessory! Let's not forget my Tory's that I wear EVERY DAY. The most comfortable sandals I have ever purchased and they match with everything! Anyways, back to details on the sale!
What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
A lot of you may ask what type of sale is this? Why all of the hype? Every year Nordstrom puts on this sale where they discount NEW ARRIVALS - products that have never been on the shelf - at up to 60%. This is why I told you that I stocked up last year on staple pieces because I knew they would last a while in my closet. These products are only discounted at this low of a price point for a short amount of time.
How Can I Shop It?
Nordstrom offers all of their cardholders (credit card or debit) early access to the sale! If you have one of these, you are guaranteed to start shopping the sale the minute the clock hits 12:00am on July 13th. If you don't own a Nordstrom card, you will have to wait until the sale is open to the public on July 21st. The sale ends on August 6th and all of these products will remain on the shelves but at the normal price. The must-have items go quickly so my advice is to get a Nordstrom card! =)
What is Currently on my Wish List?
So after browsing the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Catalog (linked below), I have my eye on a few specific items. I'll be looking at basic tees, cardigans, denim, dresses, rompers, tops, shoes. I may browse the handbags and beauty products, because you know I like to fill up my cart with a wide variety of items. Who knows what I will actually purchase because I've only seen a snippet of what is to come. Some brands I will definitely be looking for are BP., Lush, Leith, Free People, Wayf, Halogen, TopShop, Steve Madden, Sole Society, Madewell and Socialite. These brands are definitely more on the affordable side which I love because you can purchase more. =) More expensive items I will check out (but probably pass on unless the deal is TOO good!) are Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Rebecca Minkoff, Vince Camuto, Chloe, etc.
