So, I often get asked what mascara I use, what I do to keep my eyelashes so long, are there any tips and tricks to making your lashes longer than they are, and/or if my eyelashes are fake. I am writing this post today to answer those questions. I have tried NUMEROUS mascaras ever since I was 13 years old, and I ALWAYS go back to the same one, I guess you can call it one of my holy grail products (and it's an $8 drugstore mascara -- SCORE!)My go-to mascara is the Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express with the occasional help from Maybelline Falsies (it helps with lengthening). I just recently purchased the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara, and yes, it does make your eyelashes look longer, but I wouldn't purchase it again because it can be clumpy (which is a no-no in my book). How do I keep my eyelashes so long? | WASH YOUR FACE EVERY NIGHT |It is very important to wash the mascara off every night, if not, your eyelashes will break or pull off from the excess mascara that doesn't fall off at night. Sounds gross... and it kind of is. Also, a secret to making your lashes look longer is baby powder!! Grab a Q-tip and dab some baby powder on your lashes before applying mascara and voila. :-) Let me know how it works for you. I would love to know.For the last question - NO, my lashes are not fake and I very rarely wear fake eyelashes... I always end up gluing my eye shut.
