How To: Smoothie Like A Pro
If you are like me, you love to drink your daily servings of fruits and veggies in one drink. I love waking up drinking a nice cup of coffee, then head into the kitchen and get to the healthy stuff making a green smoothie. It gives me the energy I need to start my day. There is an endless amount of recipes to mix + match so you're never drinking the same drink.
Some of my favorite recipes:
banana + strawberries + apples + spinach + strawberry yogurt (nonfat) + almond milk
pineapple + strawberries + mango + spinach + almond milk
banana + orange + kale + almond milk
banana + strawberries + blueberries + kale + almond milk
banana + pineapple + kale + almond milk
{ if you freeze the banana the night before, you don't need to use ice }
As you can see, just pair your favorite fruits together and mix it with a veggie, add some liquid and viola ~Which liquids are best to use?
- almond milk
- non-diary milk
- cooled herbal tea
- water
- coconut water
- fresh-squeezed juice
