April Book Round Up
Last month was SO busy with traveling, but I impressed myself with reading and finishing up these 4 books! They were SO good. I'm pretty sure I rated them all 4.5 to 5 stars. They all kept my attention REALLY well.
Twisted Games by Ana Huang was the first book I read in April and I will say I was ecstatic to start this one. I had finished the first book of this series in March and was so ready for the second book and it did not disappoint. It was probably my favorite one of the series! Bridget the Queen and her bodyguard Rhys are a match made in heaven and whewwww they have to sneak around to be able to be together. This book was spicy (the whole series was, tbh). I rated this one 5 out of 5!
Twisted Hate by Ana Huang is the third book (they have one more coming out later this year!) and this was probably the SPICIEST book. I honestly was NOT excited about this couple at all because they kind of annoyed me in the other books BUT I will say I quickly grew to love them together so much. Give them a chance, for sure! Josh and Jules really know how to stir up the drama! Just trust me and read the series! Rated 5/5
Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score was so good! It took me about 15% of the book to actually get into. I was about to quit and then it got really interesting and I am very glad I stuck with it because it truly is a great book! Knox and Naomi were meant to be, but they are for sure enemies to lovers. Knox is the bad boy, bearded, barber who rides motorcycles and is tatted up and Naomi just ran away from the alter from her goody two shoes fiancé (which we hate btw)! She is thrown for a loop when she gets into the small town of Knockemout as a runaway bride! I rated this 4.5 out of 5 only bc it took me a second to get into!
Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglaswas a very different book! Daddy Pike is a legend.... haha! Okay so basically Jordan and her boyfriend Cole move into his dads house but Cole is out and about all the time with his friends so that leaves Jordan and Pike (the dad). She works a lot because she wants to move out on her own, but they grow closer and closer. Well, would you believe it... they start to have feelings for each other. I rated this a 4/5 only because the dynamic was weird personally, but other than that it kept my attention and I was really excited to turn the page!
