Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021
A few things I want to mention about the Nordstrom sale this year before I go into detail about what it is and how I plan to share it. First and foremost, I really don't like how Nordstrom has changed this sale over the years and extremely hate how everything sells out so quickly before it even goes live to the public. I also don't think ANYONE NEEDS TO SHOP THIS SALE, don't fall into peer pressure, I promise these items will be on sale a few months later. You also don't NEED to open up a credit card unless you want to. I never want people to do things strictly out of peer pressure of shopping a dang sale.
I do enjoy sharing the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because I truly believe there are a few things that go on sale prior to ever being in store and love how they discount them first thing. I personally purchase items that I can wear over and over again and that are a staple in my closet. I don't think I am going to go crazy sharing it this year, but I know quite a few people are shopping, so I want to be a great resource to you all who decide to shop. What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?!
Every year, Nordstrom has this huge sale where they discount BRAND NEW products before ever being in the store. Some items are up to 40%. Once the sale is over, these items will be at their normal, non-sale price. It is super important that if you see something you like, to go ahead and buy it as items sell out extremely fast. This sale is typically known as the #NSale, which you will see a lot during the next few weeks.
When is the sale?!
Each level get to start shopping on different dates, so it is extremely important to know what level member you are. To become a member, you need to apply for a Nordstrom credit card.
What does it mean to be a cardmember?!
Great question! Members who hold a credit card for Nordstrom are able to shop the sale a couple weeks earlier than everyone else. It’s super quick and easy to apply for a card. Click here to apply! The card is the key! Once the sale goes live to the public, there is no guarantee that the products will be in stock, unfortunately. Last year, products sold out insanely quick and it was really disappointing. I do want to mention that you do NOT need anything from the sale and I am not encouraging anyone to sign up for a credit card just to shop the sale. Just sharing the rules of the sale.
What type of products will be on sale?!
The products that are normally on sale are Fall and Winter since they are brand new items coming into the store and we are creeping up on Fall (some states, anyway). A lot of basics will be included which is what I stock up on every single year. Living in Florida, it’s rarely cold until January. So these basics are the perfect buy and it’s always good to have the same shirt in every color, right? LOL they always have a great selection of shoes on sale too. I went crazy with the shoes last year and plan to this year too. I always stock up on camis, basic tees, cardigans, shoes, barefoot dreams products and of course, spanx.
