Our Exciting Stay at Universal Aventura Resort + a Day at Universal
the aventura staff greeted us with some goodies plus 2 pins since they found out we were celebrating our one year wedding anniversary!
this area is when you first walk into the resort. the registration is to the left, elevators to the right and this is straight ahead. this includes a starbucks as well as their urban pantry. this idea is pretty neat because it is treated like a food court with anything you can think of ~ southern home cooking, burgers, sushi, asian, pizza. you name it, they have it! it is all reasonably priced too. since we were at universal's city walk the majority of our stay, we didn't eat much at the hotel. we did split a pizza which was SO good and lane had his usual 10pm hunger, so he went down and got a box of southern cooking.
unfortunately, we didn't utilize the beautiful pool or outdoor bar which i am sad about. it was a little too chilly for me and like i said above, we spent the majority of our stay out and about. i still wanted to share this little slice of heaven, because this area of the resort is usually our fav!
the pictures of our room that i took do not give justice! the room was beautiful and the view was amazing! we could not have asked for a better corner of the hotel. the curtains opened up 90 degrees and gave us a view of the entire sunset which was stunning, of course! if you think that view is beautiful, you should of seen it at night. i was mesmerized! we had 2 double beds and they were comfy! the only negative was that since we kept the curtains opened the entire time it was a tad bit hot in the room from the sun, but once we closed the curtains, it was cool again :) so definitely a personal preference!!
i wasn't able to get any photos in the daytime of the rooftop bar, but we did have this photo taken on our 1 year anniversary night and that is the view from the rooftop at night. you can see the view on a 360 scale too, so you see all the way around! :)
we had the BEST time at the Universal Aventura hotel and Universal! it was our first time visiting the park since harry potter world was built! i was so intrigued by the architecture of it all, it's mind-blowing how similar to the movies it is! they did SUCH a good job replicating it! if you plan to go to the parks soon - you need to stay at Universal Aventura! it's a quick 5 minute drive to Universal or a 10 minute boat ride (the hotel offers shuttle service to and from city walk until 2am). the location is so convenient!!!
hope you enjoyed!! xx
