hi everyone! happy day after a long holiday! how’re you feeling? tired? refreshed? hungover? haha a little bit of each? well, this post should help out a little. this is probably my most requested post on my blog/insta and since i am not the best on “vlogging”, this blog post will have to do.
today i am sharing my every day makeup look with you! i normally do not go all out during the week, i keep my makeup VERY simple with just some foundation, bronzer, mascara, etc. it usually takes me about 15-20 min each morning for my routine. if i have meetings going on, i’ll add some liner and maybe a little eyeshadow depending on how much time i have. i share all of the products i use below and what shades i am in each item.
please remember, makeup and hair products differ per person, just because i love a product and it works well on my skin doesn’t mean it will do the same for you. these are my GO-TO products, ones i’ve been using for years. i will definitely try other products here or there, but i seem to always come back to these.
ok so here we go…
first off, i use
IT cosmetics CC cream in shade light. i use this as a primer to be honest because it has 50+ spf which is amazing. sometimes when i’m just hanging out around the house, i’ll only apply this on my face with some mascara and be done for the day.
favorite. foundation. ever. estee lauder double wear in shade fresco. i don’t think i’ll ever use anything else if we’re being completely honest. i picked this up after multiple people recommended it to me for my wedding because i was in search of a long-lasting foundation, and to my surprise, it was amazing. i’m currently on my 3rd bottle in a year and a half. so it lasts a while, and i use it every single day.
next up is concealer… i use the infamous shapetape by tarte in shade fair. i use the lightest shade possible because i like the contrast on my under eye. just a personal preference.
i use
laura mercier to set my under eye and then i use
rimmel matte powder in shade sandstorm to go over my foundation. this stuff is amazing and just flattens your skin and i love that! plus, it’s like $5 at the drugstore, holla!
my
charlotte tilbury bronzer and highlight duo is the newest product i am obsessing over. i received these in a PR package and literally have used it since. i love love love it! the color and the way it applies is amazing!
next ~ brows! i don’t really have a go-to product. i use anastasia beverly hills brow pencil, but honestly i’d rather just use a drugstore product instead of spending $25 every few weeks. i’ve been using the maybelline in a pink pencil in shade soft brown, but they didn’t have them last time so i had to grab something else! haha
second to last… L A S H E S !!!! your favorite part, y’all! most asked question on my instagram is what do i use on my lashes. my go-to products are the
l'oreal primer in a white tube and the
l'oreal lash paradise which is the dupe of the better than sex by too faced. the last few weeks, my lashes may have seem longer and more volume and that is because i have been using the rodan & fields lash boost which is working wonders on mine!
lastly, whatever you wanna put on your lips. i’ve been using the charlotte tilbury pillow talk matte lipstick since i bought it last week. seriously obsessed with that stuff… or if i’m feeling just a gloss day, i’ll use buxom blushing margarita. :)
