First Round of #NSale Picks

hello friends & family! welcome to the best time of year aka the nordstrom anniversary sale! i seriously love this sale so much!!! if you are not familiar with it, you can read the 5 things you need to know about the nsale here. i'll give you a quick low-down right now - it's the best time of year for shoppers if you are looking for brand new items that are for the fall and winter that are discounted as soon as they come on the shelf. as soon as the sale is over in august, these items will go to their normal (higher) prices. it's really just a great time to stock up on those staple pieces that normally never go on sale.i usually make about 4-5 purchases throughout the length of the sale. this blog post is going to share the items i bought today - which is the debut of the 2018 #nsale. :) and these items are usually the first things to fly off the shelf so i want to make sure i buy them in time. in terms of last year, i bought quite a lot of shoes, tops, denim, and a handbag. oh and scarves because they were discounted at like $8. this year, i am going to try to buy more staple pieces along with basics. i normally stock up on all of my basics this sale because they are so affordable. i still wear my basics i bought the first time i shopped the nordstrom sale over 2 years ago. they're that good!okay, here we go!

as i am receiving these items in the mail, i'll go into more depth about size, fit, quality, etc. right now, i'm just simply showing you what i purchased just in case these items don't make it on the shelves for very long.
