5 Things You Need to Know about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

nordstrom's biggest sale is finally here and i cannot contain my excitement. while it is a crazy work load for a blogger, it is also so much fun! for those of you who are new to the sale, this blog post will teach you everything you need to know. also, here is the 2018 catalog that will give you an idea of what will be on sale. :)

what is the nordstrom anniversary sale?

every year, nordstrom has this huge sale where they discount BRAND NEW products before ever being in the store. some items are up to 40%. once the sale is over, these items will be at their normal, non-sale price. it is super important that if you see something you like, to go ahead and buy it. this sale is typically known as the #NSale, which you will see a lot during the next few weeks.

when is the sale?

so the sale has three important dates to remember...

• july 11th: only the level 4 cardmembers are able to shop in store only
• july 12th: every cardmember is able to shop
• july 20-august 5th: open to the public

so, what does it mean by cardmember? 

great question! members who hold a debit or credit card under nordstrom are able to shop the sale 8 days earlier than everyone else. it's super quick and easy to apply for a card. this guarantees that everything will be in stock by the time you shop. click here to apply! the card is the key!

what will be on sale?

the products that are normally on sale are fall and winter since they are brand new items coming into the store and we are creeping up on fall (some states, anyway). a lot of basics will be included which is what i stock up on every single year. living in florida, it's rarely cold until january. so these basics are the perfect buy and it's always good to have the same shirt in every color, right? LOL they always have a great selection of shoes on sale too. i went crazy with the shoes last year and plan to this year too.
