On our recent trip to Palm Beach, we had the opportunity to ride in style with the brand new 2018 Toyota Highlander. We fell in love! I didn’t think much was going to top my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, because when I tell you I love my car, I seriously love my car. The Highlander drove incredibly smooth the entire way down to South Florida. It was about a 4 1/2 hour drive and everything was extremely comfortable inside as well. I was in the passenger seat all chillin'-out relaxin', while Lane took the wheel. He had mentioned multiple times how nice of a ride it was there and back.I'm such a neutral person when it comes to vehicles. I like either white or black, classy and always in style. So when I picked up this gem, I was ecstatic about the exterior color with the interior neutral grays. I have tan leather in my Jeep, so it was nice to see the difference in having gray. I have to say I loved it! It looks so clean! The 2018 Toyota Highlander comes with ALL of the bells and whistles! A few of my favorites were the Blind Spot Monitor in the side mirrors (it blinks when a car is passing you), the Heated Seats, XM Radio, Driver Easy Speak, Roll Up Shades for the second row, has a Third Row that you can pop up, VERY ROOMY, Three-Zone Automatic Climate Control, Back Up Camera, 8 Airbags, Keyless Entry System, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Automatic Highbeams, and Pre-Collision System that detects Pedestrians. Okay, so maybe a lot of favorites? This can definitely be termed as a family car! You can definitely customize these vehicles how you see fit. Some of the new vehicles won't have all of these features, but you can always add them in. Instead of the second row, you can always get the captain chairs which is probably something I would do. The mpg on the Highlander is pretty good too, we went about 350+ miles on one tank of gas.All in all, we loved taking this baby in for a week! It was a wonderful addition to our amazing trip! If anyone is in the market for a new vehicle (especially a family car), I would definitely recommend the Toyota Highlander. It made our experience on the road outstanding! Click any of the links in this post and it will take you to the details of the vehicle. :)XO
