Happy Monday, loves! I am sharing a fun experience that I had last week with you all today. I have been contemplating for MONTHS about getting eyelash extensions. The thought of not having to apply mascara every morning (takes like 7-8 minutes for me daily) sounded amazing. I'm not sure about you all, but I go through a lot of tubes of mascara: primer, lengthening and volumizing.So, rewind to last week, I finally bit the bullet and I LOVE them. I went to Amber Lynn who owns Beauty by the Beach in St. Augustine. If you didn't know before, I work at The White Room in St. Augustine which is a wedding venue, and Beauty by the Beach is actually one of our preferred vendors. :) She is VERY knowledgeable and informative as she has been doing this for 10+ years. She made me feel like I had known her for years and explained everything she was doing so that I was not in the dark... or because I'm just a nosey person who asks lots of questions! LOL.As you can see in the pictures above, Amber likes to make you super comfortable so you can pretty much act like you're napping for an hour and a half. Your eyes have to stay shut the entire time.

To answer some questions that I have received, I created a little Q+A below: :)

Q: How long do lash extensions last? 

A: The lashes last about 4-6 weeks, but recommend to touch them up every 2-3 weeks.

Q: Can you wear eye makeup?

A: Yes, you can wear eye makeup as in eyeliner and shadow. You do not need to use mascara or strip lashes. 

Q: How are they applied? 

A: They are applied individually to each natural lash and they are customized to fit your eye shape. A full set includes 35-80 lashes per eye, depending on if you’re aiming for a more natural or dramatic look.

Q: Can I stick to my daily routine? 

A: Yes, you can sleep, play, sweat and cry in your lashes; however, more exposure to moisture will break the glue down faster. You are not allowed to expose your lashes to water for the first 24 hours though. 

Q: Does it hurt?

A: Oh no! It was very relaxing. :)
