#WeddingWednesday: Wedding Festivity Fun with WeddingWire ft. the Snapchat Geo-Filters
Hallllloooo my loves! Happy #WeddingWednesday to all of my brides out there. Lane and I only have 55 days until our BIG DAY - aaaahhhh! Where has the time freakin' gone?Those of you who use WeddingWire as your personal wedding planner, (and if you don't, you definitely should be) have you seen the new Snapchat geo-filters they just launched? I have been playing with this WeddingWire tool for a few days now, creating fun Snapchat Geo-filters for every occasion leading up to my wedding. Bachelorette Party, check! Bridal Shower, check! Rehearsal Dinner, check! THE BIG DAY! Check!! This tool gives you plenty of options and is such a fun way to personalize your event! I'll take you on a little picture tour of how it works ~
This is what you will see on the home page. If you want to narrow down the search of designs or if you know exactly what you're looking for, you can filter them by brand, event or season. There are a plethora of designs you can choose from (see bottom photo) ~ it kinda makes this process difficult because you want to use them all. Once you choose the design you want, click Next!
After clicking Next ~ it brings you to this page where you are able to customize your text. The example photo on the left will show you what the filter will look like and autofills once you type in your personalized text. Very self-explanatory! :)After you are finished with the "look" of your Geo-filter, you click Next ~
Which brings you to the third step! This step you are filling in the BTS information as in the date and time you want it to go LIVE and also your location. You have to make sure your location is exact because if not, your Snapchat Geo-filter will not show up. If you are using this tool for a Bachelorette Party and will be multiple places, you can make the radius large enough so that you are confident the Geo-filter will cover every where you plan on going!Once you are finished with all of these details, you will need to pay for the finished product! The rate of this tool depends on the length of time and how big the radius is you plan on using it!
