Daily Night Routine
Hi loves! So I have been getting a lot of questions about my daily night routine, and I just wanted to do a sweet little post on what I do to keep up my hygiene.First and foremost, it is EXTREMELY important to wash your face every single night. You have no idea what it does to your face when you sleep in your makeup or keeping the dirts and oils on your face from the entire day.Believe me when I say, I have tried multiple daily cleansers for my face, expensive, inexpensive, and in-between and what I have found is cost doesn't matter. Everyone has different types of skin and you truly have to find something that fits you. Now for me, this is my routine...
- Every night I take my makeup off with the Olehenriksen makeup wipes, I have been using these for about a year now. I absolutely love them because they smell like orangy-citrus. Doing this before I wash my face helps the fact that when I wash my face with the daily cleanser it is actually CLEANING my face and not just taking the makeup off.
- Next, I wash my face with Cetaphil which is a daily cleanser from any drugstore. You can buy it from CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Target, etc. I absolutely love this stuff! I have been using this non-stop for about 2-3 years. I have used countless cleansers such as Purity, Murad, First Aid Beauty (made me breakout! :/), etc. I kept going back to Cetaphil because it makes my face super soft and I do not have breakouts anymore.
- Every couple of days, I use the Tula exfoliating mask. It makes my skin so so so soft!! I recently bought this within the last couple of months and it was definitely worth it. I would recommend it to anyone. It is a little bit on the pricey side, but if that is okay for you it is definitely a must.
- Every night after I use my daily cleanser, Cetaphil, I use the Hydrating Day & Night Moisturizer from Tula. I have super dry skin so I need a moisturizer that is thick enough for my skin type. This moisturizer works wonders with my skin. You may look at the bottle and say, $50 for that little bottle, but I promise you a little goes a long way. I would recommend this too. :)
