Hi beauties, I feel like this has been a Monday from, you know where. I am so not used to publishing on Monday's so I have felt like I have been running around/hurrying home from work so I have time to perfect everything before I hit "publish".Nevertheless, I have been very excited to post this particular blog post since last week because I have collaborated with my soul sister/fellow blogger, Tanner Mann, author of "The Life of a Womann". We came up with a set of "interview-like" questions to ask each other, so we could express ourselves and show you all why we love blogging, how we got started, etc. Below are Tanner's answers -- Also, don't forget to head on over to The Life of a Womann to check out my answers!IMG_4950.JPGIMG_4951.JPG

Of course when { T W O } bloggers get together, we can't go without a little photo sesh... even in the rain :-P

  1. Why did you start blogging?
  • I have always had such a love for beauty, makeup, and fashion. In high school I started watching makeup tutorials and completely fell in love with the media side of beauty.  Starting a blog was an outlet for my creativity and inspiration.  I love being able to share a new product that I just can’t live without or finding a deal that I know everyone else would enjoy!

  1. How much time do you spend on your blog a week?
  • Believe it or not, constructing a blog post is much more than sitting down and writing the words that come to mind. I have a journal that is specific to planning blog ideas. Once I have decided on the subject, I take the time to pick out an outfit for blog/Instagram pictures. Getting ready for pictures takes up the most time—and then finding a location and taking the pictures.  Sometimes a post even involves a bit of research.  With all of these aspects of blogging involved, I spend approximately 10-15 hours per week.

  1. What blogger/vlogger inspires you the most?
  • When it comes to makeup I am most inspired by Jaclyn Hill. She shares all of her beauty tips and tricks on her YouTube channel and blog.  When I am in a rut and just need a new idea, I always look to this beautiful soul to get my creative juices flowing.
  • My fashion icon is Desi Perkins! If you aren’t following her on all social media platforms, you should be. She is a makeup/fashion vlogger from L.A, who always pushes the limits and slays every outfit.

  1. Is blogging a profession for you or just a hobby?
  • As of now, blogging is a hobby. I work a full time job during the week and spend most of my time on the weekends blogging, I would love to one day dedicate all of my time to blogging and have the opportunity to make a career of it.

  1. What is the most challenging part about blogging?
  • Coming into blogging I thought this would be an extremely fun and easy process. I learned how wrong I was very quickly.  I think the most challenging part is Instagram/taking pictures.  Because I work a full time job, I don’t get to slay a stiletto heel every day, so I try to take most of my pictures on the weekend to last throughout the week.  When taking pictures, you have to find the perfect background, get the perfect angle, and find the perfect edit.  I am still training my husband on the angles.

  1. How did you come up with your blog name?
  • When choosing the name of my blog, I wanted something fun and chic that still incorporated my personality and what my platform was. Since most of my content is geared towards women and my last name is Mann, “The Life of a Womann” fit the part perfectly.  This actually came to me out of nowhere…that is when you know it is the one.

  1. In the future, where do you see yourself in the blogging world?
  • My goal and dream is to start a beauty YouTube channel and start producing vlogs, while still blogging weekly. I love everything about the blogging/vlogging world and would love to live a hustle and bustle life in New York City blogging for large makeup and fashion companies.

  1. What is your favorite trend at the moment?
  • If you follow me on any social media, you will not be surprised with this answer. I am so obsessed with chokers right now.  I love them with any and every outfit, dressy or casual.  They just add a hint of sass to any outfit and also create slimming effect.Picture1

This was such a fun post and bringing it to life was even more fun. We got together last week, did our makeup, took pictures, ate Bento (our fav!!!!), danced a little, took more pictures and just had a blast being the girly girls we are. I can't wait to do it again. We have a couple more collaboration ideas, so if you enjoyed this post let us know what you think about doing more. I know we are super excited about them!IMG_4949IMG_4821 Don't forget to follow both of us on Instagram ~@kristinncoffey@tannermmannWe love making new friends!Xo, K
